study English and save the environment
In the digital era, shouldn't it be possible to create a paper-free school?
While not immediately 100% possible, one of Aim's missions over the next 5 years is to become a 'paper-free' school. We also recognise the importance of computers in the lives of many of our students, and the increasingly important part that computers will play in your future.
Steps we have already taken:-
- Homework via email. Whenever possible, your homework will be emailed to you. Complete the task on a computer before sending it back to your teacher for correction. Simple.
- E-Noticeboard. No more messy scraps of paper pinned to a cork noticeboard. At Aim, we display all the information you need digitally on the wall of the lounge-cafe. Timetables, news, special offers and much more right there on the wall as you enjoy your coffee.
- Paperless administration system. Whenever possible, records and data are stored digitally, and all of Aim's written correspondence is via email.
When fully prepared, we plan to make the transition from traditional course books to PDF e-books. Watch this space!
Saving paper helps minimise damage to our planet, and means your course fees aren't unnecessarily high.
